The Story of Terex

Back before making an entire toy line was a thought, I wondered back in 2020 if it would even be possible to make an action figure. And a lot of the same model. It first began with no more than a mere stencil and piece of paper, drawing some designs, abstract shapes till I found one that tickled my fancy. And eagerly I began working on the first prototype. Resin was a go to as most hobbyists do to ensure that the building toy was, well, buildable! It did not look all good at first but it was a promising beginning. As the years went by the building toy began to form an identity of its own once a general artstyle was picked out. Toying with what textures would better suit the building blocks going forward. Before long, 2022 rolled around and the Tailored Reconstructable Building System was born, also known as T.R.I.B.S. The acronym being coined by a fan also had a subsidiary system called “S.A.S”. The Skeletal Augmentation System. With these two systems together. It allows for endless customization and play. For at its core it relies on abstract shapes to create the ideal creature and/or character. Yet since T.R.I.B.S was merely growing, Terex kept getting the blunt end of the stick. From changes to size, shape, and even changing colors! At the end this little man, once everything reached the final stages of development, needed to reflect his journey. I began by picking the colors blue, orange, and light purple to represent how loud and vocal of a character that he is. While rocking out in those leg warmers. Added with a proud expression for all the trouble he inadvertently caused when making him. Yet also showing how appreciative in the end for the form he has now.

Bio:
Born and raised in Onu City, Terex the Astrolik is a passionate painter by trade. For any building could use a splash of color. He knows exactly what the job requires and will not hesitate to state how it is done, even to a long-time worker. He’ll go indoors and out, and even take an admiration to nature. Traveling across the island he shares his art with others to learn more from the world around him. For nothing expresses freedom more than creativity and speaking one’s mind. Even if he is slightly annoying.
